WHAT WE DO

Pax Interiors is an interior decorating and consulting service based out of Austin, TX. Rachel Paxton is passionate about making “home” a place where people want to be, a place that is both beautiful and functional. Rachel loves to mix styles in a way that is both refreshingly modern and ultimately classic.

At this time, Rachel is not offering full project management services, but she would love to partner with you to choose finishes for your remodel or new build, to decorate your new space, or to refresh an existing one.

As a homeschooling mother of four, Rachel understands the reality of a home: it is to be lived in, not looked at. On the other hand, as a firm believer in the power of beauty, Rachel sees the value of creating a delightful aesthetic in that home. Rachel’s passion is to merge the beautiful and the functional, to help you design your space so you can pursue peace at home.

CONSULTATIONS

Need help choosing a paint color, picking out new flooring, or brainstorming room arrangements? Rachel offers consultations by the hour.

  • in-person consultations limited to the Austin area

E-DESIGN PACKAGES

Whether it’s a room refresh or starting from scratch, Rachel offers design packages to bring a new look to your space. Each package includes the following:

  • style questionnaire
  • initial virtual consult 
  • 2 design boards
  • up to 2 revisions
  • final design board and purchasing links

LOCAL DESIGN

Local to the Austin area? Rachel would love to help you remodel or decorate your space. Each project includes the following:

  • style questionnaire
  • initial in-person consult
  • collaboration via Pinterest and Google docs for real-time edits, communication, and progress
  • in-person review of design boards
  • up to 2 hours of in-person shopping
  • up to 2 hours of decorating and styling (once all items have arrived)
